Studio 24

We've hit a major brick wall in the planning of the exhibition, and I'm really finding it difficult to stay on top of all of my tasks, and I think we're all feeling under a lot of pressure.
There's been a big miscommunication between the planning team and the rest of one of the courses and it has lead to a complicated matter about funding.

Since I am in charge of the budget, it's been really difficult for me to sort this. I'm actually really disappointed, as the whole point of this exhibition was to self fund, organise and run the exhibition (less the Studio 24 hire cost). However, it now seems that that's impossible, with some courses not allowing the students to pay.

I must admit it's very irritating that we are all investing a lot of time and effort into this, and it's proving very difficult to get the approval we need before we proceed.

However, myself and Meg S spoke to Patrick about it all and he was really excellent in sorting out the payment for the major aspects of the set up and hanging of the work, so now we at least know that we will be able to hang the work, which is a huge relief.

We now have a plan for over the holiday and timeline for printing and promoting the event, which has helped alleviate my stress slightly. I think this is an important lesson in letting other people help me at times and put trust into other people with joint tasks, whilst still having a back up plan should this fail.
