BOOK- Fishbowl by Bradley Somer

I recently read Fishbowl, and it was the first time I had really got stuck into a novel this year, and I've realised it's something I really missed.

- The story is about a goldfish falling from the 27th floor of an apartment block, intersected with the events of the hour before, which led to his fall, and what he saw on his journey down.

- What really inspired me about this story is how I allowed myself some set time to really relax and immerse myself in another world. Until this year reading was a huge part of my life (I even have a custom made book nook at my parents) and I think I need to invest in more books to help fuel my creativity

- Over the summer and into next year I need to make sure I read more, as it really does help my creative practise, and shouldn't be seen as something I 'don't have time for'
