- Digital skills such as Illustrator and InDesign
One of the main things I really want to work on during these three years is my fluency in working with digital programmes, in particular Illustrator and InDesign, as I think that in a technologically advancing world it is absolutely essential to be able to work confidently digitally.

-Working to professional briefs and understanding how my work will fit into the 'outside world'
Something I would also like to work on over my degree is how to respond to professional briefs, as I feel that being able to interpret the visions of other individuals in commercially acceptable and more widely accepted forms.
- Presenting myself and how to network
A skill which I feel I lack quite a bit at the moment is the ability to effectively present myself and my work in order to establish strong working links with other individuals, along with the ability to brand myself. I am also incredibly interested to learn the intrinsic workings of creative networking, as well as the different career opportunities which I can explore, and how I can fit my different passions around each other in order to create a work path which I am happy with.
- Drawing skills
Although I currently feel fairly confident in my drawing skills, I feel that I will need to develop my skill set further, especially with reference to developing freer, looser character based illustrations.
- The ability to quickly and efficiently produce industry ready work
Another skill I would love to improve is to be able to confidently work in a professional environment, and be able to work efficiently and creatively with other working professionals. Furthermore, I would love to be able to develop an efficient working process which will enable me to create commercially ready work quickly and to the brief.
