Governor role

This year I've started my role as Student Governor, as well as being invited to join the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Committee. It's a role I'm really enjoying so far.

So far:
- Attended first LTE Committee meeting, learnt importance of keeping concise but direct in feedback
- Undertaken training for Student Governor, learnt how to respond to unknown information
- Researched and revised terms and roles within Governor Board

What next:
- Ensure I keep up to date with papers and that I am well prepared for each meeting, especially through working with Joe, the Student President
- Gain feedback from the wider student community to ensure I am representing their views accurately

Key skills:
- Working and negotiating with others, both in a group and one to one
- Consider the student voice university wide, and how this impacts both community and individuals
- Developing skills in professionalism and finance and teaching
