Due to timetable clashes, we only had about half an hour to actually write out the proposal together, so after a quick brainstorm we set about our tasks. Kieran prepared all the materials including scanning in and printing out book excerpts to use. I gathered our thoughts together into a proposal and did approximate costings through online research. We then individually created some zines similar to those people would make at our workshop.
We then composed an email and sent it off. I've never had to work to such a quick deadline, and it was definitely our fault that we left it to the last minute, but I found it actually a really useful experience with working fast paced, as well as putting actual artwork together quickly and intuitively, which is something I would like to expand on more.
Having said that, I would definitely like to plan more quality time on the planning and construction of a high quality proposal next time.
