Yesterday I watched the Wes Anderson film Fantastic Mr Fox, and I was blown away by the quality of it!
My brother works as an animator in London, so I am quite used to the processes of stop motion, but I had never really seen anything at this standard as long as Fantastic Mr Fox. I thought the attention to detail and the way that I forgot they were inanimate puppets, and began to believe their own stories and characteristics, highlights just how much care and attention went into the making of this film.
I have been experimenting with stop motion in my I See Faces work, and watching this has made me really keen to explore animation more throughout my time at Leeds College of Art
