On a recent visit to London I went to the Hunterian Museum, as I have been before and find it such a fascinating and educational place. I really enjoyed spending the day studying the exhibits and really looking closely at the different specimens.
- The exhibition is made up of medical specimens collected by William and John Hunter throughout the 1700's.
- It includes many different animals and states, such as frogs, whales, and even human parts, all dissected to show different ailments or ways of working
- I only managed to get one picture, as photography is not really allowed in the museum, but since I am not using this research as a basis for a project, it doesn't really matter, as I found the experience of seeing all these objects up close was such an intriguing activity
