Over the last two years, I have really struggled to place myself within the creative industry, as I found it really difficult to create line based illustrations with a strong 'content' yet I don't feel satisfied with more abstract designs.
However, I feel like near the end of this year I've had a real breakthrough in the direction of my work. I feel like I've really advanced from last years work, as I have been able to create theory based outcomes, which are still fairly figurative, from 504, to more abstract but still meaningful outcomes in 501 and 505.
I feel like my practice still can develop a lot during third year, and that I will grow into a more free, fun illustrator, but for the first time in my university career, I feel confident in the work I am producing, and have an idea of where my practice is heading.
